What equip would you use on your perfect character?

I was wondering, what equip would you use on your perfect character, if you had access to all the items in the game? Also, make sure to say what class you are using

I wish I could answer this one in great detail

I really am not that well versed on what is "good" I go buy how much a npc vendor sells the stuff for or buys it from me. This helps me decide if it a good item to swap out. LOL I lore the items and I can some what tell if the item is suited for my character and worse or better than what I am wearing. I also do the same for my henchman. As embarrasing as this confession is, it has worked for me. I missed the class on item details. hehehe

LOL ... when in doubt, I also go with the higher dollar amount = better stuff.

My perfect armor is the red dragon armor. I wore that in NWN and I'm wearing it again in NWN2. AC +5 and fire resistance 30 and weight reduction 60% (if I remember correctly).

Another must have item (for me) is some equipment that grands immunity to disease, poison, death magick and/or level/ability drain. My character is also equipped with a regen health 4 ring and boots of hardiness +3.

Oh, when you hire the drow merchant, he sells a pretty sweet helmet, I believe it grants level/ability immunity and some other stuff. Great amulet of Health, Ring of Power and/or Ring of resist elements are also good items to have.

Over the dragon armor, my character is wearing her knight cloak.

Looting is the way to go and I even have 3 of the cheap versions of the bags of holding there, each holding 24 items

I tend to change equipment depending on what i'm fighting, you've gotta use all those quickslots for something. Immunity items don't seem as good in NWN2, probably because so few enemies actually use death magic and other dangerous spells/abilities. Back in NWN1 you'd crap yourself any time you had to face a water elemental or a bodak if you didn't have death magic immunity, and they were low level creatures. It meant that your saving throws were actually important so any items that boosted them were useful.

Typically though, once you have protection against Death Magic, Mind spells and knockdown and have something with good spell resistance, you can put the rest in AC and use whatever the most powerful weapons available are and you'll be fine against anything.

I think for the later stages in the game your equipment over-shadows your actual character attributes and you become almost invincible due to the amazing items you use.

In the church of Lathander in Neverwinter there's a "perfect" neckless for Paladins giving +3 wis and +3 char... I think theres some other Bonus too.

The Destructificator? Did you make that weapon? I haven't messed with any of the crafting skills, except making some armor and bows to sell. I do use the same shield.

And how in the world did you get so much money?? O.o

What puzzles me is that I can't wear the NW Nine tunic. I accepted the offer and I got the "expert tactician" feat. So, what gives?
