Eternal Rest???? *Possible Spoiler*

Have had to restart my MotB game and got to the point where I'm at the furnace with the Spirit Husk of Okku and talking to the Priest....but I can't seem to get the option to grant him "Eternal Rest" regardless of how I deal with him during the conversation, I only have the option to devour his spirit.

I'm sure you were supposed to be able to get the choice regardless of whether you devoured Okku or not?


Any ideas?

I assumed yo ugot the ortion too. I always did. But I'm not sure if your PC is really evil. I'm running through the game now with a very evil PC, but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I would think you still should.
If I'm correct, the conversation topic should start with something about "Why were you cremated". A couple lines later you should get the line, "I can release you and give you rest".

I don't think you can get the option for Eternal Rest from the priest in the furnace if you elected to devour Okku. I believe that devouring Okku puts you on the path to evil - and having OoM join the party.

You can devour Okku and also get Eternal Rest.
But not if you're evil.
Picking the options that lead to it if you're evil will get you something like, "pretending to sympathize with the priest made you hungry."

I cheesed the game somewhat, myself .. started a character with Blackguard levels, devoured Okku, then used Suppress lots until I was Lawful Good.

Cheers Guys, yeah I think it's the evil route I've taken, but I refuse to apologise for my crimes.....lol

Guess I'll just have to cope without Eternal rest
