Finding the L:izard Chieftain?

I freed the Lizard warriors from the undead siege in Highcastle Keep but chose the "later" option when offered to be taken to their Chieftain. Now the contact is gone and I cant find the Lizard Chieftain? is he gone and will I have to start the game over?

if you go back to that area where you talked to those lizards, turn around and take an immediate right and straight. there should be an opening through some rocks. Hopefully by walking in there, it will trigger the event of meeting the chieftan.

I have this exact same problem, and I'm afraid your directions didn't do much good. They're vague, but I looked around every place I could think you're describing (inside and outside the castle) and I can't find these rocks you're talking about.

oh, i'm sorry... i was thinking of another quest, much further along in the game. The part that I was thinking of is in the town of Highcliffe not the castle.
