Other Non-RPG Games

I just thought I should make a new thread covering other games such as FPS and RTS. So has anyone played Resistence: Fall of Man for the PS3? It owns! Also...cannot wait until next year for Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots! 2008 will be a good year indeed!

and i also look forward playing c&c again

Don't Know much about Ghost Recon, sounds cool though! But yeah, I have been waiting years for them to resume producing C&C Tiberian Twilight! (Now officially known as "Tiberium Wars".)

The PS3 will be out in europe sometime in March 2007, you lucky bastard!


But on a more serious note, I can't wait to play MGS4 (Longtime MGS fan) and Supreme Commander sounds very good as well, I'm saving up money for my PS3 now so I can't buy any new games at the moment!

i dont know why the named it tiberum wars, it goes against the names of the other titles... but i must say, im iffy about it... im alittle apprehensive... i swear, if ea screws this like they did generals............. the fact the josef kacan is in on the project wont save them...

that being said im looking forward to the game.

(read above as: i think that its likely that they will screw up some how and im not going to be happy when they do. though perhaps joe kacan being on the project will give them some saveing grace...)

I am also a longtime MGS fan... I cannot wait until MGS4 is released, it will be great to see many of the older characters such as Meryl and Naomi return. You kind of grow attached to MGS characters, as they do so well at character developement and portrayal.

True, I am somewhat worried about the developement now that Westwood does not exist... EA is taking over everything!!! But there is... some hope. As for it being named Tiberium Wars, it is only going against Tiberian Sun... Tiberian Dawn is not officially the first game's name, it is merely... Command and Conquer, even though the majority of the fan community recognizes it as Tiberian Dawn. Luckily, a number of ex-Westwood employees are participating in the developement of the project. I am also looking forward to learning much more about the Scrin, who appear to be the third faction. Ever since the Scrin Ship in Tiberian Sun there has been much speculation over this alien race, now hopefully going to be revealed.

and yeah, i heard that ea realised how much generals failed and so actually started listening to the ex-westwood guys again.
its also a pity that frank klepacki wont be doing the music

This, perhaps, being a blessing that they did not finish it the first time, as EA decided to drop the project for C&C Generals. As this was when EA did away with Westwood, and they had not experienced the failure of Generals as of yet, they would probably have tried to impliment many of the things they did in Generals, into Tiberian Twilight. I have some faith in this project, though not as much as I like. Let us just pray EA won't let us down...

My biggest question as of now is what will happen to "Liquid-Ocelot" both of them are among my favourite game characters and the idea of both of them sharing the same body is just mindbending!

Ninja-Raiden looks good too, can't wait to see what part he'll have in the story!
